Evening Dress My Best Lover

Once in a period of my life, there are many evening dresses hanging in my wardrobe, from the Party Cocktail Dresses to long evening dresses, from the black color to red, all of them will won exaggerated scream from my friends when they open my robe.

Without accidental situation, a proper evening dress can make a Cinderella into snow white. As a girl who matured in an early age, I was infatuated with evening dresses when I was only 17 years old. While other of my friends still worn in jeans or slacks, I was already fascinated about dressing up as mature as I can, and evening dress is always my super dream. At the beginning of work, I used all me salary to buy wedding dresses, which was called flashy things in my parents’ opinion. Although parent took an opposite attitude toward my infatuation to evening dress, it can do nothing to my ardent pursue. If one day I saw a beautiful evening dress in the window, unfortunately, I haven’t brought enough money with me, the undoubtedly thing I will do is running back to withdraw cash and then ran back to buy that dress. In fact, these dresses are extremely expensive, one dress may cost my whole monthly salary, but it never caused any hesitation to me since I love it so much.

I clearly remembered that the first time I worn a evening dress I was less than 20 years old, I made my hair up and worn two hoop earrings, with a heavy makeup I appeared in the party. The black evening dress with its tail covered on my feet, when stepping down form the long stairs of the hotel, I hear continuous hips and received admiring eyes from the males. I felt really proud and the big happiness made me dizzy. However, there is one more thing that I haven’t noticed: a wedding gown can make a Cinderella into snow white, but the princess’s ball is not always accessible. After I came back form foreign countries, I found it is very hard for me to wear these special occasion dresses since there are fewer balls in china. Then I became older and older, all those beautiful dresses turned out to be cultural relics, I can appreciate them but no chance to wear them.

Now, I haven’t buy a evening dress for totally three years, all the formal dresses had been placed under my boxes. Sometimes, when an old friend comes, i may bring out the lace wedding gowns and show them to her, the only react she gives to me may be: we have no chance to wear it because we are old. That beautiful time had gone and so much has changed, but I will never forget the happiness that evening dress had brought to me.
